PUBLIC NOTICE - ALL LIQUOR LICENCE HOLDERS WITHOUT A TTCONNECT ID

The Board of Inland Revenue (BIR) wishes to remind ALL Liquor Licence Holders under the Liquor Licences Act, Chap. 84:10, that STARTING from Filing Period: 1 APRIL 2026 – 31 MARCH 2027, Amusement Gaming Tax Returns must be filed Online.

• All Licence Holders must have a ttconnect ID in order to gain access to the e-Tax Logged In service.

• LICENCE HOLDERS WITHOUT A ttconnect ID ARE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN ONE.

To support the initiative, ttconnect and IRD will provide the following service channels:

  • The ttconnect Express Service: A ttconnect Mobile Office will be at the IRD’s Ajax Street office on Thursday 5th, Friday 6th, Thursday 12th, and Friday 13th March 2026 during the hours of 10:00am to 2:00pm.

The other service channels can still be accessed:

  • Email: Licence Holders can submit their documentation electronically to the ttconnect Service Centre email addresses for registration to the e-Tax service. These requests should be processed and completed within two (2) business days; visit https://www.ttconnect.gov.tt/ttconnect-service-centres/ for office locations and email addresses.

  • ttconnect Service Centre: Taxpayers can physically visit a ttconnect Service Centre most convenient to them, with the relevant registration documents, where their e-Tax registration would be completed by the next business day.
