Public Notice - Tax Amnesty 2022/2023

The Board of Inland Revenue advises the public that the Tax Amnesty has been extended to May 17, 2023.

The Tax Amnesty provides a waiver on the Penalties and Interest for returns and taxes for the following:

• Individual Income Tax
• Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE)
• Health Surcharge
• Corporation Tax
• Business Levy
• Green Fund Levy
• Value Added Tax (VAT)
• Petroleum Profits Tax (PPT) • Supplemental Petroleum Tax (SPT)
• Unemployment Levy
• Stamp Duty
• Club Gaming Tax
• Gaming Amusement Tax
• Withholding Tax
• Property Tax

To make payment, you will need a Payment Description Slip (PDS). To save time at the IRD offices, you can generate a PDS via the IRD’s e-Tax platform at https://etax.ird.gov.tt/
Online Payments of $100,000.00 to $499,999.99 can be made via ACH and via safeTT for over $500,000 through the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (CBTT).
