There are Twenty two (22) District Revenue Offices in Trinidad and Tobago which fall under the purview of the Inland Revenue Division:-
The District Revenue Services were formerly called “Warden Offices” and serve as decentralised units for receiving and collecting revenue. The primary function of the District Revenue Services is the performance of their statutory duties under the Lands and Buildings Taxes Act, to raise levy, assess and collect taxes on all Lands & Buildings in T&T not being within the cities of Port of Spain and San Fernando.
